anyone is welcome

Our mantra is “good news for all people,” our mission is to express and live out the heart of God, and we mean it. We’re a community of imperfect, dysfunctional people in desperate need of grace. No matter what you believe or how you’re living, you are invited to join us on Sundays. We want to be a place where you can be honest, ask questions, and explore faith in Jesus.

What to expect

  • Dress — Our church is very laid back. Wear whatever is comfortable for you.

  • Parking — The parking lot is directly across the street from the building.

  • Entrances — Our worship center is located in the basement/ground floor of the building. Two sandwich board signs will be outside directing you to two available entrances into the building.

  • Time — Our services typically last about 70-80 minutes.

  • Arrival — You’ll see signs pointing you down the steps into the building. When you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a few people and handed a program. People will be standing around talking and there’s a spot to grab coffee. The service will start right at 10:00 am.

  • Service — We will sing songs led by our gifted worship team, read the Bible, pray, and hear a teaching from the Bible. Usually on the first Sunday of the month and after the teaching, we will take the Lord’s Supper together.

KIDS CITY

We have a lot of young families at Mid-Cities at Maplewood, so kids are a huge priority for us. We are committed to providing a safe and fun environment for children from birth through 4th grade. All of our volunteers have been background-checked and interviewed. When you walk into the building, one of our greeters will direct you to the Kids City check-in station. There will be someone to assist you with checking in your child and it’s fast and easy.

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to send us an email before you visit.
